At Skyview Stables we offer horseback riding lessons for ages 4 to adults. you are never too young or too old to enjoy a horse! Our one-on-one instruction and New Rider Classes are a great way to get introduced to the horse world. We have a tremendous group of lesson horses that can teach from the very beginner riders all the way through show level riders, and instructors that can do the same.

Are riding lessons for you?

We cater to all types of interests - whether you are riding just for fun or are interested in competing at a local, national or world level. We have many Show Team riders that began riding in Academy classes and have learned the basics and grown to love competing and now own beautiful show horses. Lessons not cancelled prior to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to charge. We understand that unforeseen circumstances such as illness, mechanical issues, and family emergencies do occur, and will be taken into consideration if lessons must be cancelled within 24 hours, but please let us know as soon as possible. If you fail to attend your scheduled lesson without any notice to Skyview staff, you will be charged for the lesson.

Tardiness: All lessons begin at the scheduled time. If you are late to your lesson, the time will be deducted from the total time of the lesson. Keep in mind when working with horses, lessons may not always run exactly as scheduled. Please plan for 15 minute leeway at the beginning and end of the lesson. If Skyview is running more than 20 minutes behind schedule, we will contact you by phone or text as quickly as possible to inform you, and the total time if your lesson will not be affected. If Skyview is running more than 20 minutes behind schedule and you are unable to attend your lesson because of this, you may reschedule without penalty.

Lessons accumulated and billed will be charged a 5% late fee per lesson (unless you have a signed Credit Card Authorization Form on file with our office).  Lesson package discounts are only available for pre-paid lessons scheduled on a weekly basis.
